Psssssst! I have a Blonde secret.....Dry Shampoo!

As any blonde...er....bleach blonde knows: it's not good to wash your hair too frequently. The chemical raping your hair receives to achieve that coveted pale hue is pretty brutal. The more you wash, the drier your hair gets. Then factor in the styling: blow driers, curling irons....crimpers! Your hair has it worse than Jodie Foster in The Accused! It's not good to wash your hair more than two times a week. The only problem is.....dry ends, greasy roots and bangs. I know I'm not trying to feature that look! Luckily, there are a few products on the market to combat this evil.....

Psssssst Instant Spray Shampoo

My lifesaver!! This is the most amazing product. Any time you can't use water, Psssssst is the convenient, quick refresher for your hair. It's been around since the 70's (if the packaging didn't already tip you off), is a backstage favorite during fashion week and is super cheap: under $7! It's basically modified starch in a quick drying spray. Shake, spray, fluff, brush, perf! It also gives a bit of volume to the hair, which is never a bad thing. Psssssst claims to be unscented but there is "fragrance" listed in the ingredients. It's actually a benefit because it makes your hair smell fresh and fabulous.

Johnson's Baby Powder Pure Cornstarch

This is Lady Starlight and Lady GaGa's preferred option. Personally I find it it to be a bit messy but it really works! Screw the $35 Bumble and bumble hair powder, this is under $5!! It absorbs all the oil, makes your hair smell clean like a baby's ass and gives your hair so much volume it's unreal. Shake a bit into your roots and work it in with your fingertips, brush and style as usual. Just be careful not to use too much or you'll look like Marie Antoinette.

Yeah girl.....my weave sheds too!

This was filmed for use during The Fame Ball. GaGa stars as "Candy Warhol". Starlight was the artistic director for this short and as you can see there are a few inside jokes featured!
